Meeting with Chairman of Lithuanian National Commission for the Cultural Heritage
September 5, 2012 The Lithuanian National Commission for the Cultural Heritage Chairman G. Drėmaitė met with representitives of HERITY – Italy based international non-governmental cultural heritage of quality management organization: the Secretary-General Dr. Maurizio Quagliuolo, Coordinator Gaia Marnetto and Member of Committee Professor Renaldas Gudauskas.
During the meeting it was discussed about Vilnius University (VU) – the first Baltic cultural heritage object from a global assessment of cultural objects management system for quality assessment.
VU certified according the four criteria of HERITY: the value, the capacity to save, information and services. After assessment HERITY recognition certificate is granted for three years. HERITY certificate provides information to enable visitors to decide whether it is worth to visit cultural heritage.
