HERITY – Sao Joao da Barra (Brasil)

The city of São João da Barra (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) asked for HERITY international certification at seven of its cultural sites.
This municipality, representing an important phase in the history of Brazil, is currently undergoing major changes by the implementation of the Açu Super Port, the largest industrial port complex of its type in the world.

One reason more to preserve its rich cultural heritage under rigorous criteria, applied by HERITY Certification.
The certification is being sought in the framework of the Integrated Landscape Management project which is being developed by IBio under the auspices of the EBX Group in charge of the project “Industrial Port Logistical Complex” of Açu.
